Philadelphus inodorus
Odorless Mock Orange
This upright and arching deciduous shrub native to the southeastern United States has showy but non-fragrant white flowers in late spring. It is a woodland plant and probably best grown in semi-shade with fertile soil and irrigation. It is a good background plant but will develop a dense rounded habit of growth if not subject to heavy shade and competition.
