Whorled Leaf Sunflower

Very rare perennial with whorls of lanceolate leaves up the tall stems and clusters of yellow sunflowers at the top. Thought to be extinct until re-discovered in northwestern Georgia and adjacent Tennessee in recent years. A vigorous, spreading, and floriferous tall perennial for the sunny bed or border where there is ample space.
