Hypericum nudiflorum

St. Johnswort
Slender medium size shrubby St. Johnswort with relatively wide light green leaves. Rather uncommon along streams and swamps in the Southeast. Long oval leaves are light green and flowers are golden with many stamens as is typical for the Hypericums. This somewhat taller shrub should be planted in a moist soil in sun or semi-shade. It is another of the southeastern Hypericums probably first offered to the gardening public by Woodlanders.
