Rose Glorybower

Rose Glorybower is a suckering shrub with usually unbranched stems and relatively large heart-shaped toothed leaves.  I has large flat terminal clusters of fragrant rosy pink flowers.  It may freeze to the ground in cold weather but is plenty root hardy where the ground does not freeze.  This showy subtropical shrub forms colonies and can become invasive from root suckers unless confined.  It is native to southern Asia.
