This upright shrub with small, dark green compound leaves has showy yellow flowers in September followed by cylindrical seed pods. More cold hardy than Cassia bicarpsularis and winter dormant in zone 8, it may freeze to ground in colder zones. This attractive fall flowering shrub is native to Argentina.  Plant in sunny site with good soil.
