Gelsemium sempervirens 'Pale Yellow'

Carolina Jessamine 'Pale Yellow'
Gelsemium sempervirens is native to the southern U.S. and is the state flower of South Carolina. It is an attractive spring flowering evergreen vine for sun or semi shade and is an attractive vine on a fence or trellis. Variation in Gelsemium sempervirens is rare. This pale yellow-flowered selection was found years ago by Chris Early in northwestern Florida. The pale yellow flowers distinguish this Woodlanders introduction from the golden yellow flowers typical of the species.
