Hibiscus palustris

Rose-mallow, Pink
The Pink Rose-mallow is a close relative of Hibiscus moscheutos and occupies similar wetland habitats, mostly in the northeastern U.S. It is likewise an attractive garden perennial when grown in good soil with ample moisture and a sunny location. The large Hibiscus flowers in summer are pink and without the dark center found in pink forms of Hibiscus moscheutos.
