An evergreen groundcover with broad dark green leaves all arising directly from the ground. A great plant for very dark or shady corners and once used as a container plants in almost impossible environments hence common names. Fleshy flowers are virtually underground! Remove damaged or faded leaves to keep plants tidy and in good appearance. Native to China and Japan
