Camellia longicarpa

Todd Lista

Long Carpel Camellia

Two species of Camellia are commonly grown in American gardens. They are Camellia japonica and Camellia sasanqua. There are countless varieties of each. This is another species of Camellia that is little-known in America. Woodlanders is one of the few nurseries making these lesser known Camellias available to American gardeners. Camellia longicarpa is a graceful shrub with narrow leaves and small white flowers. Native to China.
