Aucuba sp. (himalayica?)

Aucuba, Narrow-leaf

This evergreen shrub with narrow serrated leathery leaves was originally received from U.S. National Arboretum as Aucuba himalayica but it may be a form of Aucuba japonica called "Longifolia". As with other Aucuba it should have shade or semi-shade and well-drained good soil with adequate moisture. We have not seen this Aucuba offered elsewhere.
