Bloom Color This large sprawling or scrambling evergreen shrub is native to Madagascar but naturalized in some other warm regions where it is sometimes invasive. It has dark green oval leave with pointed tips and very chalky white undersides. Flowers are like more familiar butterflybushes but yellow and fragrant. An interesting plant to experiment with in Zone 8 but possibly more dependable in Zone 9. Propagated from plants cultivated in southern Georgia. Plant in sunny or semi-shady location with good soil. |
