Hydrangea angustipetala f. formosa
Hydrangea, Willow leaf
This deciduous shrub is a Hydrangea but has willow-like leaves. Flowers are tiny yellowish fertile flowers with scattered marginal white fading to yellowish fertile florets. This is a new and little-known introduction which we obtained from Tony Avent at Plant Delights Nursery. It is native in forests in Taiwan at relatively high elevations. Try it in semi-shade with good soil that is well-drained but kept moist.
