Pyrrosia lingua 'Kei Kan'

Fern, Cockscomb

This beautiful selection of a Japanese/Korean epiphyte/lithophyte is not a typical fern.  It is not "ferny" but has leathery leaves that are is deeply lobed with some of the lobes having a secondary pointed lobe. Underside of the leaf is silky brown, very ornamental and rare. The name means "Cockscomb".  As with other ferns it should be planted in a shady or semi-shady spot with good soil that is moist or irrigated.
