Pink Beautyberry

This Callicarpa americana (which see) is a selection with pink berries. It was found in east Texas by plantsman Matt Welch and introduced through the Mast Arboret um at Stephen F. Austin State University. Nacogdoches, Texas.  The showy pink berries are preceeded by small pink flowers all along the stems.  This color form appears to breed true when grown from seed.
