A shrubby but somewhat vine-like leguminous plant (pea family) with deciduous leaves resembling the leaves of the common green bean or soybean. Notable for the long spikes of coral orange flowers. A new introduction which we collected in Argentina. It had first been offered by our friends at Yucca Do Nursery in Texas where they consider it a "very tough" plant which "holds up to the hottest weather." Plant in a sunny spot with good drainage and some support to train it on. Native to Argentina.
