Japanese Almond-Cherry
Small deciduous shrub with wiry stems and abundant small pink flowers as leaves emerge. A showy shrub that produces small red cherries. Long cultivated in Japan, this garden worthy shrub seems surprisingly little-known in southern U.S. landscapes. We thank Bobby Green of Green Nursery in Alabama for this plant.
