Carolina Laurelcherry is a versatile evergreen tree which can be used for hedge, screen, or specimen plant. It has shiny green leaves with serrulate margins and racemes of white flowers in spring followed by black fruits which are eaten by birds. Native to the southeastern U.S., it is best with most well-drained acidic soils.
