Myrtle Leaf Orange

Woodlanders has been a leader in offering a wide range of Citrus and Citrus hybrids which are hardy outdoors beyond the normal Citrus growing areas.  'Chinotto' is a dense compact ornamental shrub or small tree with small pointed myrtle-like leaves, abundant white flowers, and small orange fruit.  It is an attractive plant for the garden or container and has been very successful outdoors in Augusta, Georgia. This plant is often considered a variety of the Sour Orange (Citrus aurantium).  'Chinotto' is commonly associated with Italy and long cultivated there but native to China.
