Laurustinus
Laurustinus is an evergreen Viburnum native to southern Europe and northern Africa. This selection is more compact than the species. It has lustrous dark green relatively small leaves and dark red flower buds which open to white flowers in late winter. Laurustinus is an old favorite in some southern gardens for screening, hedging, or massing but is not widely available. Somewhat shade and salt spray tolerant.
