Beautyberry 'Purple Issai'

Purple Beautyberry is, according to Dirr ( Manual of Woody Landscape Plans) is the "most graceful and refined of the species". It is also the most cold-hardy. This selection fruits heavily as a young plant and abundant small violet berries follow small lavender pink flowers. Plant in sun or semi'shade in average soil with good drainage. Callicarpa dichotoma is native to China and Korea.
