Also known as Dietes bicolor, this clump forming rhizomatous subtropical Iris relative has long narrow grass-like leaves about 2'long. The flat yellow flowers have brown spots at the base of the petals. This is a very striking plant for the moist semi-shady spot in the Deep South garden. Native to South Africa.
