Ichang Lemon
Woodlanders has been a leader in offering a wide range of Citrus and Citrus hybrids which are hardy outdoors beyond the normal Citrus growing areas. Ichang Lemon is a medium size evergreen tree with large leaves with winged petioles and thorny branches. It has the typical white fragrant citrus flowers. The very large lemon-like fragrant but seedy fruits can be used like lemons for lemon pie or lemonade. Lemon pie made from these "lemons" is perhaps better than the "real" thing. A very cold-hardy lemon subsitute.
