Jetbead

Jetbead is a loosely branched deciduous shrub with somewhat arching branches. White 1-2 inch diameter flowers have four petals and are followed by persistent shiny black bead-like fruits which persist on the plant for many months. It is an "old fashioned" plant but not readily available today. A tough shrub for massing or border planting in sun or semi shade. It is native to Japan and Central China.
