Jacktree is a spreading shrub or small deciduous tree related to Snowbell (Styrax) and with similar leaves and white bell-like flowers in spring.  It is an uncommon and attractive plant for the home landscape.  Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in sun or semi-shade.  Native to a limited area in eastern China.
