Flatwoods Plum

Flatwoods Plum is a picturesque small deciduous tree with rough bark.  It bears white flowers (often turning pink) in spring.  The small sour purple plums can be used for jelly.   It is not thicket forming like Chickasaw Plum and is later blooming. Plant in well-drained soil in sun or semi-shade.  Native to well-drained soils in the South.
