Phlox paniculata 'David'

Garden Phlox Cultivar
Tall perennial phlox native to eastern North America. This species occurs in many colors and there are many named varieties. "David' is a white flowered selection made by Richard Simon of Bluemount Nursery at the Brandywine Museum in Pennsylvania. Alan Armitage in his book Herbaceous Perennial Plants says: "'David' is probably the best white today. Plants are as mildew resistant as any paniculata selection in cultivation." Plant is sunny bed or border where there is good air circulation.
