Willow 'Rubykins'

A vigorous deciduous shrub suited for moist site in sunny location. Narrow leaves have a white back and midrib. Slender branches bearing small red catkins in spring. Received from Dr. Michael Dirr who indicates that it may be a form of the Asian Salix koriyanagi but it's origin and taxonomy are "shrouded in mystery".
