Virginia Creeper

This familiar deciduous vine with five leaflets is native to eastern United States. It climbs by tendrils and up rough masonry surfaces by disc-like rootlets. The flowers are not showy but it is great for the red fall foliage. Its black berries are relished by birds. Will grow under a variety of soil and light conditions and can be very attractive when kept in bounds.
