Evergreen vine closely related to Gelsemium sempervirens (Which see). This rare species is found in wet habitats. . It is floriferous and flowers both in spring and fall but the yellow trumpet shaped flowers are not fragrant. Plant in sunny location with moist acid soil or provide irrigation in drier sites. First introduced by Woodlanders.
